  • ½ kg cherries

  • 2 kg green apples

  • Juice of ½ lemon

  • 1 liter water

  • 1 cup water

Wash the cherries and remove the pits.
To make apple pectin, quarter the apples with their skins and cores, and boil them in 1 liter of water in a deep pot until softened. Strain the liquid through a cheesecloth.
Place the apple pectin, 1 cup of water, and the cherries in a pot and bring to a boil once.
Then add the lemon juice and bring to a boil one more time.
Let cool, then transfer to a jar.
