200 g ground beef
1 small onion
1 clove garlic (optional)
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried mint
½ teaspoon baking soda

Place the ground beef in a bowl. Grate the onion into another bowl and squeeze out the juice.
Grate the garlic. Add the salt, spices, and baking soda to the meat.
Knead the mixture well. Shape into meatballs and let them rest in the refrigerator for 1–2 hours.
You can cook them in the oven or on the grill.
