Mini Lahmacun with Chickpea Flour and Hazelnuts

For the Lahmacun Dough

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tablespoon yogurt

  • 1 tea glass chickpea flour

  • 1 teaspoon salt

For the Lahmacun Topping

  • 120g medium-fat ground beef

  • 1/2 medium onion

  • 1 grated medium tomato

  • 4 whole walnut halves – coarsely chopped

  • 1/4 bunch parsley

  • Black pepper, salt, and optionally hot red pepper flakes or isot pepper

  • For the dough, place the egg and yogurt in a mixing bowl and whisk. Add chickpea flour and salt, and knead until a dough forms.

  • Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out very thinly with a rolling pin.

  • Cut out 8 equal circles using a bowl or a large glass.

  • For the topping, grate the onion and chop the walnuts.

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, onion, grated tomato, walnuts, parsley, and spices. Mix well.

  • Place the dough circles on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and evenly spread the topping over each one.

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) until the tops are golden.
