Grate the onion and carrot while lentils are being boiled.
Wash the greens and remove the stalks.
Crush the garlic.
Put the boiled lentils, egg, onion, carrot, greens, garlic, flour, spices and olive oil into the food processor and process until you get a thick paste.
Add slivered scallions to the mixture.
Put baking paper on a baking tray, place 4 burger pieces each with the size of a hamburger patty in the baking tray and cook in an oven preheated to 200 degrees until the burger pieces get brown.
In order to use the iceberg lettuce instead of hamburger bread, take a small piece from the bottom of the lettuce, remove the middle part of the rest and place the vegetarian burger.
You can add sliced tomatoes, celery leaves and red onions before serving.
Celery Chips
Cut the celery in the shape of french fries. You might use a serrated blade to cut the celery in order to have jagged sides which will give a pleasant look.
Add the spices and olive oil and mix.
Cook at 200 degrees until the celery pieces get crunchy.
