Boiled Chicken with Vegetables

1 whole chicken

1 large zucchini

1 small carrot

2–3 pearl onions

2–3 bay leaves

Ground red pepper

Salt

Vegetable oil

Cut the whole chicken into large pieces suitable for boiling.
Rinse the chicken, let it drain, then heat some vegetable oil in a deep pan.
Once the oil is hot, add the chicken pieces and bay leaves, and sauté until lightly browned.
Meanwhile, cut the vegetables into large chunks and peel the pearl onions.
Add oil to a deep pot, then sauté the pearl onions and carrots briefly.
Add the sautéed chicken to the pot and mix well.
Add salt and spices, sauté for another 1–2 minutes, then pour in cold water.
Let it simmer. Add the zucchini toward the end of the cooking process.
